I am glad I found friends
Hi, I was diagnosed about four years ago with mmncd, I have had one and a half years of IVIG therepy. I believe it has helped to slow the progressin of this problem. I started with a foot-drop, which has now grown to right sided weakness, and the use of a walker. I am 62 and have a great family support system, but I need friends who truely know what this is like. I do feel isolated. di2005

Hello, and welcome to NeuroTalk! This is such a great place to hang out, make new friends, and learn so much. I would like to point you to a forum, but I also don't know what the abbreviation of your illness stands for. If you could tell us more, someone will be able to help you. I will give you links that may get you started, at least. http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum2.html http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum19.html We're so glad you found us! :) |
