Flector Pain patch
 Hi everybody,
I'm new at this website but I need some help about the Flector pain patch. My doctor gave me some to try, they seem to help but they are constantly falling off. Can I still take ibuprofen with them? I am concerned about possibly o.d'ing on them! Do you have to wear them all the time? What about slepping? Should they be worn then? I had back surgery in 2000 and have been on alot of different med's. My dr. is concerned about my liver with everything I take. So... anything about the flector patch would be great! thank you! :Crazy 2: |
Ask your doc for the voltaren gel its the same product essentially in gel form that you can rub on. Better than the patch which fell off for me too.

I use the flector patch sometimes. I make sure I'm lotion-free before I put it on. I haven't had a problem with it staying on, it just doesn't seem to give me much relief. My directions say to change the patch every 12 hours and I have slept with it on. I keep trying it hoping that one day it will help but I think I get more relief from the ibuprofen along with a lidoderm patch. I hope the flector helps you. Good luck!

Hi Linmarie,
I agree with you! I haven't gotten much relief from it either. AND I have noticed that I got more relief from the ibuprofen! I take alot of that, on top of other med's for the back. My dr. wanted me to try it to spare my stomach from the ibuprofen. My dr. also is talking to me about getting a Spinal Cord Stimulator. But, after looking up some info on it, no thanks! rich |
You know, I'm still not sure how all of these buttons and gadgets work. So, if I already posted this, excuse me, I thought it wAS ERASED! But, thanks for getting back to me Linmarie, I agree with you about the lack of relief from the patch. I was hoping to hear it from someone else!:p Actually I too get more relief from the ibuprofen. My dr. Wanted to try and spare my stomach from all the pills I take. My dr. is also talking to me about trying a Spinal Cord Stimulator! But, after doing a little digging on it, NO THANKS!
God bless, richard (rw131) I tried every name I could think of to sign in! And, then I tried my e-mail address! |
no relief with it here either . Dr. gave me the cream too as the patches were falling off . But they didnt help in the long run.

Hello razzle 51, I agree with you that life is short, the Bible says "It's appointed for man to die once, then comes judgment!" To me, that's the scary part!!! Ever think about that?!
