Cymbalta Dosage Upped

HI Folks....

As per Dr. Latov, I raised my Cymbalta dosage to 120mg. That was on this past Saturday. 60mg twice per day. I am also on Gabapentin 3600mg per day. I feel drowsy and some aches and pains like when I first started Cymbalta, but I was wondering, how long should I wait before I say this is not working. I had a partial response to the 60mg...pain free days etc. I guess now I am feeling side effects of upped dosage....but will it take 2 -4 weeks before I know? Any thoughts/insight will be appreciated.

Thanks,

Mark

I have just went up to 120 of Cymbalta.I don't know how long as I think everyone is different and some may be slow benefits. I had taken this before but only did 60mg which is the depresson dose. I have heard people on here state they are on 180mg. I have been told though usually 120. I just went on neurontin too but am on a very low dose still 900. My doc said at least 1500-3200 I think. Do you feel neurontin has helped? What side effects do you have? I know for me nausea came with it so I eat with it and make sure my stomach is full. I did adjust though. Sorry not much help but I hope you see more benefits asap

I felt minimal benefit from Neurontin alone. I also had almost zero side effects, aside from "slow brain" which went away (my wife contest otherwise). The idea is there is a synergestic affect between the two. So we shall see! I have a high threshold on these meds...hope u r doing better Daniella. Pretty name by the way.
