My First Shot

Last night I did my first shot of Ribif.

Used the auto-inject, this way it sort of felt like someone else
was doing it. :D

Surprised I didn't feel anything and wondered if I did it right. After a
few minutes I felt a slight stinging. :(

Today the weather is miserable rain, cold, nasty-nasty. So I am feeling
in the dumps, I can't say it is the med. because when the weather is like
this I felt the same without the med.

Friday is my next shot

I take this dose for 3 weeks and every 3 weeks it is increased to a
higher dose. This they say is to let the body get used to it slowly.

Time will tell what will happen.

Jappy :(

Well done !! You did good.

Where did you do the shot the first time?

And congrats. I used to put a warm cloth on the injection site after the shot. That felt good.

First cold to numb the skin and then heat to sooth my soul!

I did it first in my right thigh, it seemed furtherest from my
eyes. :D

I just massaged it and as time went by the stinging stopped
but pain was going down the thigh and today when I got up I felt sore.

As of now I feel OK.

Congratulations Jappy.:)
To go slow with small dosages is the best way to go. I started on half a dose of Avonex, but I had wished I had started on a lower dose. I got symptoms even on the half a dose.

Some people react, others are lucky and don't. I hope you don't have any problems and it works well for you.

Good luck for Friday. 3 weeks is the way to go.:)
