Question for All
Hi Everyone,
I need to know if anyone has tried ETPS (Electro Therapeutic Point Stimulation) when they go for Physical Therapy. If so, can I get some feedback? Thanks Peggy |
I looked it up as I hadn't heard of it.
A blend of acupuncture & electric stimulation it seems, sounds interesting. They also look at the whole body and not just the areas of pain. . http://www.painfoundation.org/eNews2...ucehocking.htm http://www.acumedmedical.ca/us/device.html other sites/info listed here- http://www.acumedmedical.ca/us/device.html |
Thanks!!!
Thanks Jo,
It does seem interesting. Of coarse, once again my insurance won't cover, but I am going to check amount out of pocket since I was planning on trying acupuncture anyway and I was going to have to pay that out of pocket. Peggy |
Peggy, I have never heard of this but any type of PT has been unsuccessful for me. Always caused more pain. I wish you the best and would love to hear if you have it and if it helps! Linda

tried it
i tried this in san diego in '91. to tell the truth i could not tell if it was working or not. i also tried something where the stimulation came from twisting the acupuncture needles. this feels really icky and i did not like it. and i could not tell if it was working or not.
one thing i did get from these doctors. if u bring your meds. i held my meds in my hand, and they press down on your arm. they can tell from doing this if the med is good for you or not. this i found worked, even tho it sounds real hoaky. |
