I have ACM type 1...had facet block and Dr hit my ACM!!!!
 

:confused:I need information from anyone who has ACM type 1 and had facet block of C1 and C2.....I had this routine procedure done and the Dr did not pay attention and inserted the needle with steroid straight into my ACM...it is much worse now...I mean MUCH....Cant walk a straight line or lift my 4 month old over my head....I get really exhausted fast and my whole right side is tingly all the time...also, my right hand and arm get real heavy feeling and my hand burns....I also choke on things easily and my voice has changed...My ACM was at 8mm and now is at 9mm...going for some more MRIS tomorrow to see about my CSF...Anyone gone through this?

I am very scared that this is only corrected with the decompression surgery or is permenant...we have advised with an attorney, but I need more info/research...

any injections are a big no no for anyone that has Chiari . I hope you didnt do much damage . You need to see your dr.
