I was talking with my bro when I was in FL. He said up in OH, when you get to be 40, you're getting old. But to look around, the 70 and 80 yr olds are still out whooping it up. Us 40 and 50 somethings are the kids down here.

He was right. Dh and I could hardly get in anywhere at night - the restaurants were packed with people old enough to be (at least!) our parents.

Look out for the Towncars in Orlando.

:D

There's a reason the old folk migrate there - the fountain of youth.

When we realized that DH was an Alcoholic, we stopped partying so much. I always had to drive..:mad: He slowed his drinking and drank at home, mostly. I never was a big drinker but a wild partier, in my day.;)

I'm all partied out...no desire to be out there among them, anymore..:eek:

When I was younger I could dance all night, get one hour of sleep, go to work and do it all over again that night. Those we're the days.

Yeah, Me too..it probably causes MS..Oh, wait, you don't have MS..:D Was DH a partier?

ROFL!

I used to do the same thing!

It HURTS to do it now even when you get 8-10 hours of sleep!

When I was younger (in graduate school) I broke my elbow while dancing and drinking. My new motto became, "do not drink and dance." Now I do neither.

Yes he was but he didn't dance too well. His beat was off most times. :p

Not "Quite" There---

This is from a plaque I picked up years ago at an amusement park. And a dear co-worker had sent it to me prior to that. Not quite true for me yet but hey, I'm working on it:D I do have a ways to go...

"Young at Heart"

Old age is golden, I've heard it said
But sometimes I wonder as I go to bed;
My ears in a drawer, my teeth in a cup,
My eyes on a table until I wake up.

When I was young my slippers were red,
I could kick my heels right over my head
When I grew older my slippers were blue
Still I could stay up the whole night thru.

Now I am old my slippers are black,
I walk to the corner and puff my way back
The reason I know my youth is spent
My get-up-and-go has got up and went.

I get up each morning, dust off my wits,
Pick up the paper and read the "obits".
If my name is missing, I know I'm not dead
So I eat a good breakfast and go back to bed.

You got to love it:ROTFLMAO::Tip-Hat:
