Anyone order meds from Canada?
My Lexapro is going to be $75 a month on the tier for my new meds, The others are free for generics but no generic Lexapro.
I tried in the past the paxil, prozac, effexor and had bad experiences on them. frightful night terrors, so realistic. I had to titter up on the Lexapro too, but am much better keeping my brain from over cluttering and fretting all day. I do need the ativan too which is not covered, BUT I found that Canada is allowed to see the generic and it is only $10 to ship and $88 for 90 days worth. The doctor does not have a problem with Canada, but no where else because like China there is no FDA. Lexapro has a 10 or 12 year until it will be allowed generics. I just never ordered from there, I know it will take longer, with the customs, di |
Di,
I order my blood pressure meds from a Canadian pharmacy (Northwest Pharmacy). I had to get a prescription for the generic for Diovan (Valsartan) from my PCP and fax it to the pharmacy but, like your med, it's only about $85 for a 3-month supply. Brand costs well over $90 for just a 1 month supply. The generic isn't available here in the states yet. I cannot afford that and would have had to either stop the med or try to take an available generic. I've never had a problem ordering from them. Just order about 3 weeks ahead of time to allow for shipping. :) |
Thanks for mentioning the Diovon.
DH is on the last month of Cobra assist and will have to pick up a plan. I am not sure it even covers meds. THat is his only perscription med and no generic here yet. Did you ever try the suggested substitute meds instead of diovon? di |
