Which part is the liver panel? I should know this but I keep forgetting. :confused:

isn't that the cholesterol, triglycerides, etc?

ALT, AST, bilirubin, etc.

It looks like my PCP didn't order the liver panel then. I'll have to go back in for another test. :mad:

You made me look at my lab slip, Wiz!

My order this time around is for CBC, CMP and Vit D panel.

My liver stuff is covered under the CMP (complete metabolic panel)
Blood stuff is under the CBC (complete blood count)
Vit D panel is self explanatory.

This is good info to know...I've asked my pcp to do a liver screening before, when I was having IVSM monthly along with so many drugs prescribed for sxs; I don't think she ordered any of these...

i think you already got the answer but liver panels consist also of liver enzymes:
* bilirubin
* alkaline phosphatase
* AST ( SGOT)
* ALT (SGPT)
