I Can

I Can...

With a smile on my face,
I can hide the pain,
An air of confidence,
I can disguise the strain.
With a cheerful outlook,
I can quell the fear,
With jokes and laughter,
I can cover what is clear.
With determination,
I can see it through,
With an inner strength,
I can fight the pain too!

Dear Jaime,

I hope that you are publishing your poetry. It lifts the spirits of a lot of folks here and deserves to do the same thing for an even wider audience.
