pin prick test - numbness - bilateral?

hello,
I have a question about the pin prick test. My right side is numb I guess. I could not feel the intense sharpness a pin would generally cause. From my face to my toes.

I used to get numb tingling areas in the midsection of my torso on the right side front and back. I couldn't feel anything.

I am just curious about all of this because I have a lot of loss of sensitivity on my right side head to toe. On my left side I have some slight loss of sensitivity but not in all areas.

The doctor started on my left side and I could feel the sharpness but one he crossed mid line it just felt like he was poking me with a dull pencil.

It that typical for MS? It is not JUST my leg or JUST my arm.

Oh and my bladder and bowel issues are FINALLY being addressed!! thankgoodness......................:)

Ok found my own answer. Yes it is normal to have one side totally different than the other in MS. My left leg is starting to have some problems  but most of my left side is still fairly normal.
What I wondered and maybe didn't ask very well was does MS affect only one limb at a time or can it be one whole side or the other. I probably should have already known this.
