New member getting Healthier

Just woke up at 6 am slept for only an hour. I've been using 10-45 mg oxycodone for several years and occasional dilaudid 2mg once or twice per week. Started for back pain after car accident and an assault, and it just never resolved. It's starting to cause headaches, poor sleeping and memory problems. This is no way to live. I often deals with people who have co-occurring disorders and the existential angst is troubling.

Any suggestions?

And, the Chronic Pain forum:

I have had chronic insomnia for years, and have been on different OTC meds and prescription meds. Right now, I'm on Klonopin for tremors, and the two pills I take at bedtime make me sleep like a baby with no side effects of drowsiness or anything like that in the morning.

I'm sorry for your pain, and I hope you can find help for it. Have you tried physical therapy?
