Gastroporesis?

Hey, I have been ill and was hospitalized for 3 days. I was diagnosed with gastroporesis after an endoscopy. My stomach was completely full and full of bile. I was released with hydromorphone 2-4 mg (4-6 hrs), reglan before meals and bentyl (2/day). I still have severe pain and can barely eat and am having autonomic effects (raynauds in my fingers, variable body temp and trouble catching my breath at times).

Does anyone have this condition? Will I have it always? What is next?

Mere

:welcome_sign: I'm not sure if I've already welcomed you Mere, but if not..... welcome to NeuroTalk. I'm just sorry that it's this condition which has brought you to us. I don't have gastroparesis myself, but I did find a site that might answer most of your questions. Have a look at this one and see if it helps. http://www.webmd.com/search/search_r...Type=undefined

Hopefully some-one else will be able to give you some insight from personal experience, but in the meantime make your self at home and I look forward to seeing you around the site. :)

We have two posters currently on PN with gastroparesis.

If you post at PN you may get more answers.
They don't post everyday there, so be patient.
