Sugar causes cancer.

This principle no longer needs to be the subject of population trend studies. The specific mechanism is proven.

Proven......

*edit*

Otto Warburg observed the process in 1924, and theorized that sugar causes cancer in 1928. He received a Nobel Prize for his discovery sometime around 1930. Now Harvard researchers have identified the specific catalyst which transforms cell metabolism to support cancer. It is pyruvate kinase M2 (PKM2).

It would be easy to read the above experiment as saying sugar simply feeds cancer GROWTH. But cancer is not an adult mammal. If cancer is alive it tries to grow. It would take a precise blood sugar concentration to force existing cancer to convert and grow new cells no faster than it loses dead cells.

If cancer has no sugar, it can't live. Humans can live on fat and protein.

It's that simple.
