New here w/MS
New to NT but not new to MS.
Have been reading and this looked like a good place to land and share my concerns and questions about MS. I am a stay-at-home farmers wife. No kids at home (empty nester) but I am always busy .....I have chickens and I am having a blast raising them. Also horses, dogs, cows, goats and pigs. Who needs TV when you have animals to watch. I hope to share some antics of farm life. The humor is what keeps me going. I am a painter, crafter, and giver by nature. I also enjoy the outdoors. Gardening (flowers and veggies), fishing, camping, riding 4 wheelers and just enjoying nature in general. Hope to get to know people here and learn the stories of others who are also suffering/managing MS. |
Welcome
Welcome to NT It is a wonderful place to hang out and read and write with others, in a caring manner. Here is the link to MS if you haven't found it by now. http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum17.html There's always a lot of people visting The Stumble Inn. There's lots of tips for you. Feel free to share your farm fun with us. I can't wait to read about it. Let us know if you need any help getting around this site. |

Greatest place to learn and to have a good laugh!! I'm also a farm kid and still live on the land I grew up on...Dad gave a parcel of land...love raising my children where I was raised...you take care and hope to see you around!! http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/j.../welcome-3.jpg |
Hello and Welcome to Neurotalk, HenHouseChick! You will meet many great people here who i'm sure will try their very best to help you if they can!
I'm sorry to hear that you suffer from MS! My nanan suffered from Progressive MS but unfortunately passed away when I was younger. Neurotalk has a very large MS forum so i'm sure you'll find all the info you need there!!! Being a stay-at-home-farm wife sounds lovely! I bet it is SO nice waking up to all of the livestock! I absolutely adore animals and we have our own 'mini zoo' at home lol! We have a springer spaniel, African grey parrot, chameleon, hamster, chinchilla and lots of fish! They all keep me sane and I think they understand more than humans sometimes when you are having a bad day! If you need anything, please don't hesitate to ask - we are all more than happy to help if we can! Take care of yourself and hope to see you around here more soon! Alison. |
Hello and welcome to NeuroTalk! There's a large MS community here so make yourself at home and join right in. :)
