new here

I am new here to this place but not new on Peer to Peer site for RSD/CRPS
My name is Jrzgirl1, and I know I have this problem but all of my DR.s will not give me a straight DX, this started with wrist surgery in 08 and worsened after I broke my right small toe and 5th metatarsal bone, a month or so after that(and being in a cam walker for 3 months) my foot was turning red, purple and bad edema but my Orthop. said it was NORMAL, I finally went to a foot doctor because the pain and burning were so bad, he sent me with a DX of crps to PT and PM doctor. PM doctor wanted to do shots in my back 3xweek. My husband lost his job so I could not afford the co-pays for this $2000,00 per visit/treatment each. I am on darvocet, that is all I can take, so many drug allergies,we have to sell our house by 9/15 or we lose it, STRESSED OUT . Our Golden was admitted to the vets yesterday, some kind of virus, had IV therapy, blood work and meds, he vomited that yellow bile up several times since Fri. I am losing this battle because of stress and pain in my feet.hands and legs.:thud::frown:

Hi Jrz
Im sorry to hear,There are alot of people here in all these sites on neuro talk,As for dx rsd,,thats hard for any dr to do,,they ALL avoid it,,its their last resort,,so dont feel out of the norm,,Stay busy and exercise if you can,,even if its a 20 min wlk of 45 min swim,,this has been helping me,,the best medicine for me is prayer to the LORD,,IVe been on some many meds in the last 4 months,,,use what you need,,but as for me my faith in healing comes from above,,and movement is the best thing other than prayer there is for rsd,,,,,,,,,im soory to hear about your dog,,,they to me arent just animals, they are our friends,,,,,as for your injections,,ive had 3,,they made mine worse,,theres a differentnce between ,,sip pain and smp,,when rsd reaches,,,sip meaning the pain is independant,,then shots and other things from my exsperence like TENS units,,make it worse,,,God will heal you and supply all your needs,,,,bobber,,,,,ps,,try to stay calm,,i know its hard,,but evrytime i worry and spaz out,,i get really bad flares,,,,,,,,,,,,,pm me if you want,
