Braintalk is Down for unknown period of time

I got an email from Mike Weins at Braintalk saying it is down, until John Lester comes by to fix it. JL has not been by in a yaer, so who knows when he will take care of it.

I'm just spreading the word so folks know. Some might end up here. Like myself!

Hi BBS, we've been waiting for you..:) I hope the others come too. I haven't been back there in quite awhile....

It really hasn't been the same, since JL lost interest..:( I did my best to keep the place going, but now, I'm done.

Thanks again Doc John..:hug::hug::hug:

This makes it sound like Braintalk is going to be down for a long time. Did others find this place from Braintalk, or did everyone else go to TIMS? Ken

Hi BBS, good to see a familiar face. I received same e-mail and was very sorry to find that out. There were some post I was really interested in, as were many others.

Hope to keep seeing you around.

Virginia

It was so nice when JL had time to have personal interest. He attended some of the gatherings that different groups had. He would write some comments, really nice guy.

Braintalk is what got me into a forum type atmoshphere for my MS. I had gone to a loal MS meeting when first diagnosed which torally bummed me out. I didn't want to see that I might be like 'those people' one day. But Braintalk showed me the real people behind the disabilities. So I thank JL and his vision for helping me.

Hi Ken,

Yes. If I recall, this site, NT, was developed when BT was down on an extended crash and many have stayed. Hi gang!

I haven't been either lurking or posting much at ANY sites for quite some time (needed a break, you know), and had just started posting again on BrainTalk when it disappeared. I've actually met Doydie & Virginia in person at different BT gatherings - Spring Fling & Leafwatchers. :)

I've missed some of the posters who've gone on to other forums a LOT, but I have trouble following more than one, and BT was my first.

Wishing the best to old friends, current friends, and new friends. :)

I am glad that I was right that someone here would know what is going on at BT. Thank you for letting us know.

Hi Susan and anyone that comes along and may recognize my name. I will go back to my lurking now. :)

I have to stop in to say hi before you go LL! :)

(And I met ladylurk at yet another BT bash - lunch in Maryland.)

Hello and welcome to those coming from BT!

There is a thread on the Community and Forum Feedback about BT with updates:
