Possible new neuropathy med?
|
Yes, it does sound promising, especially the ability to slow down or even stop the progression of PN would be a real bonus for many, thanks for sharing your good find.

conference
I followed the thread and found it referenced a conference on neuropathic pain which occured in November. Googling on it, it lead to a University of Rochester site with links to conferences. This seemed interesting:
http://www.neuropathicpain.org/ There's a neuropathic pain organization with yearly meetings. Next one, of course, is next November. But it would be nice if we had representatives at these meetings! Here's another org with meetings: http://www.iasp-pain.org/AM/Template...ContentID=1293 Glasgow, in April... Or, June in Berlin: Neuropathic Pain (NeuP): June 7-10 2007, Berlin, Germany. Second International Congress on Neuropathic Pain. Sponsor: IASP SIG on Neuropathic Pain. Info: www.neupsig.org or: Secretariat, Kenes International Tel: +41 22 908 0488; Fax: +41 22 732 2850, E-mail: neuropathic@kenes.com Web: www.kenes.com Omigod! Just as I was googling, drooling about the Bermuda conference on Pain and wishing one of us had been there, I found THIS: http://www.theroyalgazette.com/apps/...NEWS/111300125 So, for all of you who don't want to follow all the links here---everyone at that conference got ill! |
