HR 1708 Companion Legislation to Eliminate Two-Year Medicare Waiting Period

This is very important to all of you having to wait the two years to get health insurance. Please take the time to read this bill and get with your representative to vote yes to eliminating the two year waiting period for health insurance.

Thanks, Sandy. I'm waiting for Medicare to cover me.......I'm still 1 year away from having any type of medical coverage. Seems ridiculous that they agree I'm disabled yet make me wait for two years for coverage. :rolleyes: I will definitely be contacting my representative about this.

Even though I don't need it yet, it needs to be fixed. It's not right to tell a person that yes, they are disabled and no, they can't have insurance for two years!:mad:

Writing and calling and harrying friends to do the same.
