my chiro uses low level laser therapy { also called soft laser, cold laser etc}.

I found info about it and various other alternative type therapies while searching for treatments for my chronic RSI/TOS & musculoskeletal pain.
I would give it a try if you find someone that uses it or has one.

Chiro has used it on my shoulder, wrist, elbow, sacroiliac joint - often 1 treatment with the laser does the job for me when I have a specific pain area.

here are some sites I found that help to explain low level laser therapy

Not to be confused with LED light therapy - they both use light but the power and speed of treatment is much better with the LLLT.

My chiropractor also uses cold laser therapy. It has helped me and my husband has it done on his arthritic joints and it helps him.
It's a very simple procedure. The light is in a hand held instrument the head is about 2 inches in circumference it's held agains the painful area or joint for about 5 min. and that's it.
Take care,
sherrie
