What's Wrong With Me?
Trying to self-diagnose. No luck with doctors yet. All of them just tell me my symptoms are stress related but I don't believe it. Symptoms: headaches, confusion, blurred vision, ringing in ears, twitches in R eye, L hand and L foot, nausea, dizziness, speech difficulties (i.e. forgetting words, mumbling, stuttering), fatigue, difficulty falling asleep, staying asleep, and waking too early. I also have joint pain, cramps in abdomin, back, feet and hands, and my newest symption - bowel incontinence. Has anyone had similar symptoms? Any idea what direction I should look for a diagnosis?

Hum... Have you had a PET done ? nothing there ? I mean, nothing in your brain ???
If your brain is "clear"... what about high blood pressure ? or, high sugar levels ??? If nothing, well, stress doesnt sound too wrong to me... :o |

your overall symptoms would give a Doc reason to say stress. Are you under stress? |
Have you thought about Multiple Chemical Sensitivity? It's becoming more popular and doctors are giving it consideration now whereas before their answer was "stress" or "it's all in your head".

Responding to your "What's wrong with me?"
Rossy, although some of your symptoms sound stress related, taken as a whole, it seems to me that more is going on. Have you consulted a neurologist? Consider what meds you are on. Consider whether you might have a spinal condition, such as spinal stenosis, a narrowing of the spine, which might not necessarily have symptoms other than the incontinence that you mention. I think that current or recent medications might offer some explanation, IF there are any. Blessings on your journey in making it through the medical system. Believe it or not, there are those docs who honestly care about pursuing an accurate diagnosis. billie:winky:
