Celexa

Does anyone have experience with this med.? My PCP gave it to me to even out my mood swings... (that I was just sure were all in my family's head:)). Anyway, it makes me so tired/sleepy and that's the last thing I need when trying to fight MS fatigue in the first place! Just been taking 10mgs for the past two days but am supposed to go to 20mgs after a week. Will the sleepiness go away? I feel like I've taken a whole box of benadryl!:o

I didn't experience the sleepiness with Celexa so I don't have much advise for you. If you find that you can't deal with the fatigue, even after being on it for a few days, talk to your dr about it. There are many ADs out there and each one effects us differently. It may take a bit to find the right AD for you. Hang in there!

The weird thing is my lower body feels jittery... but my mind feels like I just need to take a nap... a long nap! Hope this is temporary and goes away as my body gets used to the med.

8 days into the Celexa and the drowsiness is still a huge problem! I take it around 5pm and get a good nights sleep but from 5:30am until around noon.... I'm a zombie! Should I adjust the time I take it????? Help!:)

Maybe you should lower the doseage, until your body is used to it??
