Hi everyone,

My new nephew,was airlifted today to the state Children's medical center with meningitis..please keep him and my family in your thoughts and prayers..:(

Updating while I am home-going to grab a bite to eat in a little while.

He is eating and sleeping well,they caught the meningitis early,and now we just wait and see what the test results bring.

I will update as I can..I am also going to attempt to get some sleep..Mom is with us,but,she is leaving tomorrow..but,Dad is here..so,we should be fine...

The absolute latest on our situation..

After two sleepless nights,I did what any exhausted woman would do on a Saturday morning..I slept in,and took a nap this afternoon..

Here is where we are at this point.Mom left early this morning,without waking me up,which is unusual for her,considering I make her coffee..(Mr. Coffee made Mom's joe,I was getting some serious shut-eye.)

My nephew has viral meningitis,is still in the hospital,however,he has been doing remarkably well.We are still awaiting more test results,but,he is such a trooper. None of us are all rested though,I was able to rest all day today,at home..I'll sleep good tonight.

I will copy this update onto the other boards..Thank you for caring!!

monday update:he's going home.

He's going home to be with his mom,dad,and 2 older sisters..he'll probably drive them nuts,but,that's okay!!:D:D:D:D:D:D:D;););););)

You have my prayers that all will be well with you little nephew. I pray that the docs in charge are knowledgeable and can bring him relief soonest; and that he's fears can be relieved enough to speed healing. Blessings on him and on your family.
