Erin

Thought by starting 'Erin' thread we could all send some positive energy to Erin in one place so it be easy for her to get meassages. I have no information - but am concerned since she hasn't posted in few days.

so with that --

Erin, whatever's going on, know that there are a lot of folks who miss you and are thinking of you. You really brighten up the place and we look forward to reading your lively posts again soon.

Sue, What a sweet post!

Erin, I hope you are sitting outside on a hammock, sipping tea and watching birds fly around. Unless it's hot outside, then I hope you are getting a massage, while sipping tea and listening to really good music inside in an air conditioned room. ;)

Hello all!

Hey guys! THanks so much for the kind words - they mean so much to me! I have been feeling a bit rough, but it is only temporary - once my port/shunt is FINALLY put in, I'll feel GREAT AGAIN!:D Right now it is kind of a waiting game - both of my dr's are going to the mat for me to get it done ASAP, as I really need the plasma exchange often..........

I've also been abble to have my beautiful niece over for the past couple of days - she has been so much fun! She knows that I need to get some rest, so we have been lying around on the sofa playing games...

Mike left for Alaska today - he took his son, Scott. They should be back on the 15th. i'm going to miss him!:(

Does anyone know if I need the shunt or port for the plasma exchange? I'm hoping for the shunt, but will take anything I can get right now!:D

How are YOU guys doing? I've missed you all SO MUCH! I hate being too weak to get on Neurotalk - you guys have become my lifeline....:D

Hope this finds ALL OF YOU strong and HAPPY!

Love,
ERin:D

Port

Erin, I am getting a port put in on Thursday, the reason I decided on the port is because it is placed inside the body and not "hanging out" which lessons chance of infection. The port will be put in at my right chest bone area and when I get my weekly infusions the nurse will only have to "poke" me once not up to four times like before also whenever blood work needs to be done again just one poke. I can't wait as my veins "roll" and "Blow" so not having to be jabbed over and over will be a relief.
