I actually sent an email to JL...wonder if he will read it

This is what I said in the email.

However, please just let the people who are members of your site and donated money know that is the case so that they could go find or even carry the torch elsewhere. Have sent a number myself over the last month and a half. None were responded to.

same here sent several over last couple months. no response

I also wrote him awhile ago (a month or so ago) and never heard anything, so don't be surprised if he doesn't respond.

I feel pretty certain that they have been bombarded by e-mails.........

im sure bombarded is an understatement. i also wondered if the server went down if emails would even get thru? maybe not.

hope JL is doing ok.

we ALL know that everything in cyberworld that goes *poof* was nabbed by jelly eating monkeys. :D

only choccy eating monkeys can be trusted. :p

The email I sent to is the gmail account - I don't think it would have nothing to do with their server going down.

Curious' theory (jelly eating monkeys) is more like it.

Funny thing though- it was a couple of days after I emailed asking that they please post a new update- that the Aug 24 notice appeared on the website.
