PCS Issues.... Please help

I was hit over the head with a karate stick while working at camp in early july and suffered my 2nd concussion since 04. I am a 19 year old male btw.... I have had bad headaches, dizziness, difficulty concentrating and cognitively.... my doctor had me start physical therapy this weekend which has made my symptoms so much worse.... I have a few questions if anyone can help!!

1. while working out my blood pressure went way up and the pt was worried, what is that a sign of and what does it mean?
2. Does anyone know of any great doctors in northern nj/nyc for pcs and tbi?
3. Does anyone know of any great pt places specifically for pcs?
4. Also are my symptoms normal at this stage and what can people recommend?

Thanks so much!!

First, I would say you have a good PT, he is watching your blood pressure.

One thing I would do right away, is have the PT get ahold of your doctor,
let him know what the blood pressure went too. I would also suggest
that the PT keep monitoring the blood pressure.

a. I also believe you might want to ask if you could just drop by your
doctor's office and have your blood pressure checked. But this needs
to be random, and no waiting once you get there.
a. If you were to wait it could go back down.
b. So you could have it taken right when you get there, and say 15 minutes later. This would give your doctor some ideas on what causes it to rise.

B I would definately ask if maybe you could take something that would help
both high blood pressure and headaches. There are a couple of medications
that do this. It might help your TBI a lot.
a. I take verapimil ER 240 mg

The PT should start to help with the dizziness, loss of concentration and some of the other things if you are doing the right things.

1. I did a program for visual therapy.
