Default Meeting New Friends(who are ill) Can You Tell?

It's been just absolutely beautiful weather over here, in Southeastern PA!
The Sun shine down and it'll burn ya, yet, the air is cool.
(Oh, I've got to mention, that I've had almost ALL my hair cut off taday!) Yea, this will be my third, and probably last, ponytail I send to the cancer children. (It can take years!) But worth it!

Anyways,
As I walked home from the Barber shop, many nice ole' ladies engaged me in conversation, and, I just love that!
So, I gathered all my things, got home to my stupid apartment, Grrrr.... and had a friend take me out for the afternoon/evening! YEA!!!!!

First, (after negotiating NE Philly traffic) Grrrr, We stopped @ The Farm! Yea.!
I got some Jersey Tomatoes, and White corn! Several Avacodoes, and some Apples, ( a new hybrid, guaranteed, to be the best on Earth!) from UPSTATE PA~! YES!~ They look it, and have the right "scent" of an apple!

Then, we went to the "Italian Bistro", which is sadly kind of slow.....
But, we filled our gullets, and were happy campers!

But, the moral of this story has already passed..........

After coming out of the Barbers... I engaged two "ladies", and they turned out to be Mom and daughter. Cool.
It was the Mom, who engaged me....
She was probably 30 or so years, my senior, (Just a guess).
Because the daughter "seemed" older than me.....
WTheck do I know?
Anyways, this lady, didn't want to stop/end the conversation!
And, I had just gotten all this hair cut off!

I was blushing.
And, she was smiling!
So, I rode that pony, on outta town......
YIPPEE AYE AYEE!
We both walked away smiling.
Very Nice!
I love that.

Then, got to my stupid apt.
Put on iTunes, and waited for Steve.

We took a ride to "the farm"......

The lady there, is known to be "bichy"?
OK.
I engaged Her!
She told me she has Fibro.
I,
asked her if her bones feel as if they're "aflame"..?
YES!

Hmmm.

OK.
I promised to bring her some literature, for herself, and her doctor.

Have ANY of YOU encountered a person who's been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, Only to turn out to have RSD??
I'm one of those!

Steve didn't even come into her stand, because he knew she was "bichy".
But, I had a little too much caffeine again, and I engaged her......

I'm going to take her some printed material, and invite her online here!

She's NOT Bichy!
She's just in PAIN!

Dammit! I hate when that happens!

Let me know what Ya'll thinks, and I'll keep Ya'll posted, on how I do.....

love to ya'll,

Keep Prayin'

Pete

Hi Pete,
I just wrote an e-mail and I pushed the wrong key and it disappeared..so forgive me if you get two posts from me!!

Thanks for sharing about your day and the new friends you met after the haircut...I know exactly the feeling you're describing..it's so great when you meet temporary friends on the street or in a cafe..it makes the day!! It made my evening to hear how happy it made you, and I could sense the happy vibe!!
Pete thanks for donating your ponytails to the cancer cause and especially for the children...
I hope you grow another to help keep you warm this winter!

I'm sorry you call your apt. stupid...(I've lived in many places that I couldn't relate to...) I know you have built and designed and then lost your houses..and how devastating that is...(huge understatement..)

Please try and get along with your apt...it is what it is and it's your sanctuary for now..maybe get a couple of plants..your apt. will be so happy to house them..make a couple of changes (a couple of new pix on the wall, or a candle to light while listening to tunes...
Your apt. will keep you warm when the autumn winds start to blow..and your new plants will give you fresh oxygen..

So glad you helped the 'bitchy' lady who is really in pain..I know you made her day..

Dear Pete,

I think Hope made some great suggestions..do what you can to turn your apt into your space. Make peace with it. It is what it is.

Good for you for helping the farm stand lady. You did your good deed for the day. Way to go....

XOXOXO Sandy
