Hi Loretta,

Yes, I also use a butterfly needle when I have blood draws.

Also, just an FYI - in my area in Minnesota - they don't have police officers draw blood. They call the paramedics to the station and they do the blood draws. I used to work for a paramedic company. So, atleast here, they don't have police officers drawing blood. But, then, if they are doing them on traffic stops, they may very well be. Or, they may call the paramedics to do it. I would think there would be a liability for the police to do it unless they were trained EMT's...

Just my thought.
