Heart Sorry I haven't been around much...

Hi Friends,

It has been raining all week here..and I haven't slept much at all. I have been in a harsh flare, and even upping the OpanaER to 30 mg x 2, is barely taking the edge off this pain.

I leave my puter on 24/7, and have popped in a few times..but no energy to send my images to my buddies. I will be better soon.

Get this, last night, around 10:00 PM central time, the phone rings and hubby cks caller id..it is my x boss that terminated me over 1 yrs ago??? The same boss that told me that my pain was my problem, and the corp. I worked for was not Walmart..there are no greeter positions(idiot, greeters stand up at Walmart!). I was laying down, and was not in the mood to talk to her..I owe her nothing. She left a message asking me to call her back...yeah, RIGHT!!!

I spoke to my atty. today, and he told me to ignore her call. I don't have to deal with her. I see the atty.'s doctor in one month; it is then that the doc will figure out what I NEED to LIVE life as a CRPS patient, that is now drawing SSDI, because of 2 WC injuries/surgeries, (2 1/2 yr ago since 1st injury..and start of RSD.) I told the atty. that I need water PT, I need a scooter..I need a doc that knows more than pain medicine. I need an RSD specialist..the best. It will all be addressed when I see the atty.'s doctor and he evaluates me.

Finally, I see a light at the end of this tunnel of hell. I know there will be more delay, etc, however, we will be before the judge and these demands for my welfare will be addressed.

I hope to be back full throttle this weekend. Miss each of you.

love,
Dew

Hi Dew,
I'm glad you're getting some rest...sometimes we need a retreat from everything in order to get back on keel..let your attorney do the thinking and footwork regarding the call from you ex-employer so that you can free your miind and spirit for regaining strength and equilibrium..
thinking of you

Linda,
Like you tell others,
don't let the disease mark you.
In the same way,
don't let attorneys or the ins. docs. and ins. lawyers, don't let them get inside "Your Head"!
We' all beautiful children of God.
What these "Outsiders" want to do, is take us under their command.

DO NOT Give IN!

It very difficult, until you "turn that key" ya know?
Then you're FREE!

Nobody can work you again!

Maybe our friend Bobber might comes in and helps me on this.

For where there is God, Where is the Oppressor?

love,
Pete

Get your list together girlfriend!

Have you considered Dr. S in Philly? Why not make an appt? It takes 18 months to get in, so you have time to get WC to approve it. Or try to get in with another well respected RSD specailist that may be closer to you. Perhaps go over the list of ketamine doctors that is available from Jim Broatch (see Ketamine Klub on FB). Have you tried Lidocaine infusions yet? I just had my 3rd. They have definately chilled me down some. The RSD had spread to my right leg, and the infusions made the leg a bit better. I also had a block which worked to some degree (but I think wore off a lot after 12 days). What is quite noticeable about the infusions is that they make me very relaxed and I sleep better and more often - I nap almost daily.

Take care Dew, we miss you. XOXOX Sandy

Default Hi Dew,

Sorry to hear that you are having a hard time right now.

There's that weather thing again. Seems like all of us are dealing with it. I have had a horrible month and half due to the crazy weather we have had. It's going to be nice today but I guess we have some really bad weather coming in this week. I think the barometer is changing back and forth a lot lately. When it changes our pain levels change.

As far as WC, I have never dealt with it but I see what people go through with it. It's horrible how they treat people.

As far as the scooter, I hope you can get one. I heard on the news that getting scooters are going to be one issue that will be effected by this new healthcare plan. It will be harder to get them. Not that it's not already. Bill couldn't get one when we knew he didn't have long to go.

Get better soon so you can start putting those neat images up again.

Ada
