Default I have to come to this forum before bed

Every night since I found this forum, I have to visit before I go to sleep. It seems to comfort and relax me knowing that so many understand. My hubby is very grateful that I found this forum, too. He prays right along with me for everyone on here and it certainly is fitting in nicely to our bedtime routine. He says I am a lot less restless and I know I don't wake up as often. So, never doubt that you are not being prayed for, because we are praying for you here in WV. Yes, even those of you lurking and not joining this forum yet...

Cindi,
I'd like to express thanks, for something that's so easy to forget!
We're here for each other! At most any time.

And, for those "Lurkers", (Lurking is a very cool thing, btw.),
I'm happy, every time a new one comes out into the open!

Sweet Dreams!

Pete

Hi Cindi, I agree, this is a warm and comforting place to come and relate with others with this disorder. Most of us have others, family and friends, that are of support, but even some of our family or friends, find it difficult to truly understand what we go thru.
My first 9 years, I didn't even have a Dr. who understood. So I'm really grateful for the past 5 years having a psychiatrist-neurologist and pharmacologist. His knowledge of meds , the mind, and nervous system have been a combination that has actually improved my well being.
Welcome to neurotalk, we are always happy to 'be there' for one another. Shared knowledge helps us to be powerful, thus strengthens us to endure. Some of us who are spiritually minded, draw strength from prayer thru our reliance on God and find it an act of love to pray for one another.
Cindi, we are happy you have joined the forum and feel the support and comfort. Take care, loretta

To all of those people lurking...

GO RIGHT AHEAD

It's fine to read the posts and not put anything out yourself. Not everyone feels that have something to contribute. Do not think you need to be an active participant to get a lot out of this site. Read to your heart's content.

We may not know you by name, but believe that we are still your community and care about you. We are all in this together. If you ever want to submit a post, by all means please do so. We are not here to judge writing style, spelling, grammar, etc. Just say what you feel. Or don't - that just fine!

Mike, how graciously written. I was one of the lurkers for quite a while.
I learned so much, was consoled, encouraged, and strengthened. Now I'm sharing in the various posts. I have yet to initiate a question, maybe that is next. Just wanted to say what you wrote was eloquent and heartfelt. Thank you.
Cindi, we are happy you have found this site. I agree, it is a place of comfort and encouragement. The combined knowledge here is something you can't buy in a co-pay or pay in a psych. visit. (Don't get me wrong, I still see my psych. once a month and neurologist, pharmacologist, they are all the same person! smile
I was just like you when I found this forum. Grateful, Thankful to God, When my husband and I say our evening prayer, he always thanks God for the help. We can't get thru this without His help. Your friend, loretta soft hugs

I,too was a lurker, for about 2 months before I joined. It was at a time when the doctors made me feel like I was crazy. I'm glad I "lurked" before I joined, because there are other forums where they talk about everything but RSD. I love you all like I really know you and I so feel like I'm at a family reunion on here.LOL!

I am having a really "poopy" day, because I did too much in 2 days. I'm laying in the couch with my soft blankies and my lollipop Dell and my hubby is babying me. I wish everyone could have a spouse like I do. I'll send up an extra prayer for those of you who don't. Big gentle hugs
