Go in and insist...

Lindsay said thank you for your post, she is still feeling pretty lousy, coughing and having a difficult time breathing. She is using the nebulizer rather than her inhaler, it seems to be helping a little. I will probably have to take her to her Pulmonologist on Monday. I think she is having Asthma problems along with the flu. Lindsay sends you soft hugs too!

On another note, the last visit Lindsay had with her PM, not Kirkpatrick, she gave me a list of supplements that she wanted Lindsay to take, I am going to find them, I will post in the next few days. Supposedly, they bring down the inflamation. I remember one was fish oil. But, there were several.

I hope you feel better Loretta, My prayers are with you. Your daughter understands and I am sure if she feels the way that I do, she just wants you to feel better. You have wonderful memories, You still have a long life ahead of you, just because you can't play tennis any longer, you still have movies and popcorn and conversation and soft hugs. My favorite time with my daughter is when she makes me watch her weird television shows with her. She makes cookies and we eat them with milk and talk. It is a beautiful thing, so smile that you can still have this time with her and know that this time is more precious.

Much love and soft hugs to you too,

Sandy
Hi Sandy and Lindsey,
Thank you so much for your wise and comforting words. I will go in this afternoon, but not let them give me a flu shot. Even when I get well, I'm scared of getting the flu shot and the swine flu shot. I'll talk to my RSD again before I do anything. I've been seeing him for 5 years. He's a neurologist, pharmacologist and psychiatrist.
In my opinion, he seems Lindsey got sick from the shot and went into a flare from getting the flu from the shot. Does that make sense. We have a poor immune system, thus catch things easily. The vitamins sound very good. I take several also. I'll make a list for you. I'm seeing a woman Dr. that also does compounding pharmacy meds to keep the hormones level.
I really like the website rsdrx.com Dr. Hooshmand is retired, but still keeps the website up. The puzzles list is 140 questions with his answers.
He explains so much about RSD and its affects on us. I've had it 14 years-full body now. Besides vitamins, I'm real conscience of eating high antibiocs and probiocs.I have this internally also.
Is Lindsey going to take the h1n1 shot? I think I'll write Jim Broach of RSDSA and ask what the majority are doing? I believe in being our own advocate too. I was misdiagnosed here in Scottsdale as having RA after a water skiing pull of nerves in left hand. My tests were negative, but Dr. said I still had it. I decided to fly back to Oregon to a good group of sports injury Drs. (College Town) The Olympic Track and Fields Trials were held there. I had been to the knee Dr. several years prior. Anyway, when the hand Dr. walked in, he diagnosed RSD in less than a minute. Sent me to hospital for testing and it was RSD. Next day he had me in physical therapy. I came back to Scottsdale and continued therapy. Thanks to him I only have partially paralyzed left hand instead of fully paralyzed. I'm mobile every where else. My toes started to curl up off the floor, and my RSD Dr. had me do water therapy and in 4 months or so,, they were touching the ground again. I'm so thankful.
How are you feeling Lindsey? Thank you for the messge. Hope you are feeling better. Your friend, loretta soft hugs
