Default Flector patches/Voltaren gel

Anyone out there using Flector patches or Voltaren Gel to help treat inflammation from RSD? Is one better than the other?

Hi musicgirl! Flector patches and Voltaren gel are both Diclofenac, just administered differently. I tried both and didn't get any relief from them, but I know there are some folks on here that use them with good results...hopefully they will chime in

Good luck!!

Hi, I have used Flector patches for several years now and they have helped me quite a bit. At first I tried the Voltaren gel but that bothered my stomach. The Flector patches seem to be the only anti-inflammatory that my body will tolerate. I just wish they weren't so expensive since I have to pay out of pocket for them.

I used both for three years now ,I like patches better and works combine in my case with lidorderm patches ,one provide medications for inflammations and pain, and the other ,is a numb agent for pain, like its name lidorderm have lidocaine it numb the areas .
Well back to fletchor, still today's date work for me ,I was taking tablets before but suffer severe stomach pain and my dr decided to,try patches and gel ,gel didn't work for me ,the patch is ok ,remember we all experience side effects in different ways ,might work for some but not for all.
Patch is better ,12 on and 12 off ,we can't forget that ,easy directions .
Hope any you decide ,works well for you .take care . Jesika .
