Wow! What a great guy I missed. Of course, I did not have RSD/CRPS,
know what it was or know about this site back when he did this very profound research and writing. Now, I so, so much wish I could talk to him. It would help connect the dots. My mother died of a "circulatory or vascular" disease that was still did not have a definate diagnosis at the time of her death at age 51. That was 32 years ago. Sometimes, I wish we were all an actual community, but then I realize I should be thankful for living in the time of the internet to be able to share & Connect! |
I have interest in so many health issues and have worked alternatively for 25+ yrs. A dear friend has dealt with RSD for probably 15some yrs I'd say. I've walked with her thru so much of her health challenge. She's moved to Portland and I miss her but we still connect via phone and email and she's doing pretty good all in all. Always working to feel better and have problems finding integrative MD's to help her. I've talked to her about grape seed ex and just the other day sent her a new email from Dr. Mercola on the benefits of grape seed ex.
I'm a FIRM believe in OPC's: pycnogenol, grape seed extract and resveratrol. I've taken the first two for over 2 decades for general immune system support and my health in general is very good....OA and hip replacement mess are my major issues. I thought I'd bump this up from a member who is now passed here, Vicc, I did not know this person as I've just arrived here due to nerve damage and support I was looking for, but this person had so much knowledge and so much is lost with so many posts here. So much to learn and know about helping our health issues. |
Thinking about all this information from Vic and it sure is thorough. I re-read every word last night and thinking more about -- free radicals, antioxidants, circulation etc etc...this is everything I've read and heard for all the years I've taken this powerful antioxidant. The Main reason I started with Pycnogenol way back, we were told it "may" prevent cancer(s). Then when I started with it, a life of allergy/sinus issues left me...I was shocked. I know it works for edemic issues as I've had two bouts one from a BP med and again from hip surgery. Extra grape seed knocked it out.
My daughter has had a "puffy" skin and that is inflammation...she had taken grape seed ex off and on during her marriage which ended but NOW she is so faithful and even her two teen children. I often keep them supplied. My friend with RSD, thinking back and I didn't know what I know now about a lot of health issues, her hands were so puffy. She says her RSD is from computer use while she was a teacher at LA unified. For many years she was not doing a computer but got on it a few years ago. She says she's doing pretty good these days. Well, folks keep up the healing work. |
