If you are living on the east coast and it's been raining for days, raise your hand!!! I just got refills on all my meds and a switch on my Lexapro so I am hoping I can take this rainy, cold, snowy October weekend. I have to go to see my son at college and take the care package across the mountains of WV. There is a football game and I just do not know if I can do the whole thing...we have friends that live a block away and they have offered for me to go there if it gets too bad. Please pray as I pray for you all every night

I also live in the North East. It was only 40 degrees this morning, which was a few degrees warmer than yesterday when I went for my daily walk at 7;30 a.m.. I hate it. I have to force myself and my dog to get going when it is cold and wet like this and it's not even close to winter yet. I have been wearing gloves for a month now because my hands are always freezing cold. Ugh!...Good luck with the football game, can you get those hand and feet warmers that are battery powered?

Prayers sent!
All of us in the NE are suffering now, as does the rest of the world on occasion. I went nuts last nite, as they turned the heat on in my building, it literally will go well above 80, which is just too hot. I had the A/C on, a few times open windows (not good), then I realized it was the heat. Being previously been a master of that trade, I know how to fool my system to shut it down. It just an up and down night, like usual, if it weren't this, it would have been something else.. But, I must say, I think that the "motion" that is induced in our bodies during the night, is in a way good. Has anyone ever slept so soundly that you wake up in the same position, as when you closed your eyes? OMGoodness, I hurt so badly in the AM, especially (if) that happens. Gotta keep it moving. Cindi and Sandy, Take good care when driving or walking. Be warm and alert! Don't want anyone to get hurt again. pete |

The Hubs and I got home from taking some things to my son in college, and watching a football game in the rain.( I know, I am a glutton for punishment, but FULLY medicated!) we came home and in our mail box was my medicaid card. I have been without insurance since July and it says that my card is RETROACTIVE!!!! So, now I'll have all of my dr's appts in the last 3 months paid in full and I will not have to pay $300+ for my meds! I am happy, happy, happy! I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off of my shoulders. The rain has stopped here and it is supposed to be beautiful this week, so maybe I can feel like a real normal person and get some stuff done around here.
