Default Trying to find a doctor in RI or near there!

I am trying to find a doctor for a friend of mine, she lives in Rhode Island so wanted to see if there are anyone on here that know of any doctors in that state or near it. She has been having a very hard time looking for help when her RSD started about 4-5 months ago. At first it was in the knee but since has spread. Every doctor she has seen has said no or the ones she was with dropped her, even her PCP dropped her when he found out she had RSD. With no doctors she hasnt had any kind of treatments not even one med of any kind, and is getting to the point of giving up. So I thought I would do what I can to find help for her, so have been researching, contacting and e-mailing doctors and pain clinics all day. I know all to well what she is going through with going through 147 doctors myself. So any info anyone has for doctors near her would be of great help, thanks so much!

I hope everyone is having a low pain day. Thank you again!
Pain Free Hugs!

I go to Caritas St. Elizabeth's in Boston, Mass. Dr. Joseph Reyes. 617-789-3100. If he is booked there are 2 other docs on the staff that likely have some experience with RSD.

I did try, but I could not find a doctor I liked to treat my RSD in RI.

Good luck to your friend. Sandy
