Hi Pete,

I'm so sorry to hear of your bad news.

There was no way of having your disability settlement listes as a premarital asset ? This is just plain wrong !

Pete........

I am so sorry you were bitten by a rabid system...a wild and crazy injustice...

You're in the very dark of darkness, and I hope you have some sources of light to see you through like an in- person friend or two, who can be with you to listen..to go for a drive if you can, to widen your state of mind, and dilute some of the depression and anger...although as with grief, we have to look at it and be with it before it starts to resolve. Easier said than done..

I hope you can listen to some music that can somewhat soothe you.. music does that..

The pendulum has swung for you to a dark place, so please remember it has to start swinging back into the light..it's a law of physics...

I wish I had something concrete and practical to offer such as 'call your congressman, the American Civil Liberties Union, another attorney, the New York Times....write a letter to you venomous wife to vent....
Hang in, Pete...I hope better thoughts, events, and vibes are near in the future..

..and your faith, however you view it, be with it.

Thanks,
So Kindly,
To all of you!

It's not just all "the system", it's part that I'm not capable of knocking down a lawyers door.
We don't get treated fairly, because we're weak and timid.

I'll write more, I took a little fall on the ice, and my hand is very sore. I have it wrapped with lidocaine patch.

I intend to answer everyone. can't do that right now.

I do want to send my love to all.

As has been said, this too, shall pass. I am not what I own.

pete

Thanks SG!
My hand will be OK in a day or two, just so no one thinks I"m staying away!!

I'm not!

I'm still concerned with all your problems, mine will pass...

Property is only "borrowed", even as are souls.
We own nothing, God parses it out to use.

I only have difficulty with mankind.
Very selfish!

Thank you all.

Pete -

May we all share your attitude in the face of adversity. You've developed into a remarkable guy. Although, like the rest of us, you have at times exibited poor judgment in your choice of women.

Michael,
I'm gonna get back to ya on that......OK?

I'd say my hand is hurtin', but, then I'd get *edit* for that....

That's surely not the way it's meant!

Ouch!

Have a good evening, all!

Hi Pete!

You have been a great friend to me here, and I feel very badly for your situation. I am sorry that you have put through all of this and I understand. I, too, was taken for everything I was worth during my divorce. It's hard enough going through one, adding all the stress on top of it. THEN adding RSD...not a good mix. Please know, you are a wonderful and uplifting person. You have taught me and helped me understand all of this. I DO believe in Karma. I am sending happy thoughts to you.....
