Hi everyone,
Just a quick question, my Lindsay had an allergic reaction to an antibiotic that she has taken several times before. She broke out in hives and has been breaking out with the hives even after she hasn't taken it for several days. She started another antibiotic and started having severe stomach pains. I don't know if something has changed since the ketamine that could cause this to happen. Has any one else had any crazy reactions with antibiotics? I don't know if this is the RSD or just something new going on. Also, her RSD pain is back. But, even though we live in Florida it is going down into the 20's tonight, so I think this cold weather for the past couple of weeks could be causing some pain. I hope all is going well with all of you and you had a wonderful holiday. Lots of love, Sandy |

Dear Sandy
I am sorry to hear about Lindsay's set backs, I sincerely hope that her flare this time is less than previous flares because she has had her treatments. Hang in there, the cold weather is never around too long in Florida! Is she scheduled for another ketamine infusion soon? Happy New Year to both of you! Love, Sandy C. Quote:

That happens to me with penicillin. I get the hives, swelling, and all the fun stuff. I als found out I was allergic the the next antibiotic they gave me. It sounds just like what I went through. She should go get checked out pronto.

Hi Allen,
I took her today to the doctor, you know how it is when you see the doctors! They went ahead and put her on Amoxicillin so hopefully she should start to feel better... Thank you for replying, it is really strange how your body reacts to things. Sandy |
