Default HBOT and Insurance

Dear friends,
I have been away from the forum for months handling a personal issue that should come to some resolve tomorrow. I want to thank all of you that have supported me during this time through pm's and personal prayers.
Many of you know that I have been an advocate for HBOT in the treatment of RSD/CRPS due to results both personal results and from the results I have witnessed in others. HBOT however, has NOT been a cure for me. It has improved the quality of my life more than any other treatment I have received in the past 20 years of full body RSD. The reduction in swelling, decreased imflammation, the promotion of new micro vascular growth, the increase in stem cell production by 8 times and reduction in pain are some of the benefits I have experienced.
I know there are some of you that are waiting for HBOT to be approved by insurance companies in order to pursue treatment. I found this article that I felt may give some of you hope for the future. I currently live in New Mexico and this press release, I believe is promising for the future. I think if this message gets out we may make way for positive changes in our future.
Warm gentle hugs...Di

Hi Diana, I've missed you. Thank you for the link and update. I,too, hope insurance companies get on the ball and cover HBOT. I saw my RSD Dr Monday. I think I told you he built two clinics, and both have a HBOT. I'm going to try the HBOT beginning of summer. He is having some great success for various patients. He told me in Tampa, Florida they have a VA Hospital and just put in 16 HBOT. A Dr. from New Orleans or Houston, I forgot, oversaw the new HBOT Treatment Center.
A local woman was driving on the Freeway here in Phoenix, and two other cars collided-ran into a metal fence, part of the fence became a metal missle and went thru her front windshield and pinned her to the front seat. She lost her little finger, parts of her arm, and pinned her shoulder to the seat. She had 18 surgeries. Her Neuro. asked my Dr. who also is a nero if he would oversee HBOT treatment. Her arm lost almost total range of motion. After 9 treatments she was waving Hi to the TV crew, it was on TV. Amazing how fast she got her range of motion back. He is trilled with different results that he has had.
We started another business dealing with healthy chocolate-the #1 highest antioxidant in the world is the cocoa bean. Our chocolate has a patent, because it is cold pressed, not heated, thus losing the nutrients. It also has the world's #2 , the Acai Berry.
Please know I'm thinking of you every day. Times are really tough. Arizona has the highest foreclosures in the country. Our daughter sold their home they had been in 4 years and Lucas went thru flight school and is a commercial pilot now. Their house doubled in 4 years. That's how crazy things were here. Housing market is still going down, with lots of homes are the market.- I'm trying to get myself moving-walking a little. Have gone down on pain meds due to sleeping so well. I can drive- 4 hours after taking meds, so I have a window of time I can promote our coffee business and chocolate business. I just don't feel like getting out. Need to push myself.
Diana, are you doing dives? I think I remember you saying you are in real estate. Are you working? Diana, please know I'm here for you at anytime. With love, loretta and soft hugs
