Default Teeth grinding???

I have been grinding my teeth like mad in the past few days. And weird because the Neurontin completely knocks me out. I sleep like a baby! Does anyone else have this?

yes, goto your dentist and get a NTI. its like a miniture mouth guard and it prevents jaw soreness, headaches, toothaches, and of course future dental work to fix the grinding damage.

Wow, yes. The past wk I have been so bad my husband wakes me up. Since an increase in Lyrica and taking melatonin to sleep, I do sleep better.

Thanks for the advice Alaska Mike! Will definitely do that! The reason i posted the question is (a) Neurontin is actually prescribed to prevent teeth grinding and (b) on other sites, other RSDers have complained of the same thing. Not sure if it is from the pain or the stress from the pain. But either way you're right. Off to my dentist to prevent further damage!

I have a nightguard for when i sleep because i grind my teeth, and let me tell you what a difference it makes!!!! I actually need to replace mine because I ground it down!!! My poor teeth! I have TMJ and the night guard makes a world of difference. They are pricey about 500-700 bucks, but ive had mine for 3 years and sleep is sooooooooo important for us, so anything we can do to help it we should!!
