Default Pain level has gone way up

I have had no relief. i called my dr and he said if the pain is severe to go to the ER. Has anyone gone to the ER for their RSD/CRPS? If so what will they do. I am trying to hold out as much as i can because i don't want to go there and they do nothing for me.

I have not gone to the ER for my pain. My dr usually gives me something over the phone. I pray your pain levels go down, and you get a nights rest. Hang in there. I know a few of my friends have gone to the ER and they dont get taken seriously because the nurses don't know what RSD is. I dont know if pain medication helps your pain?? It makes mine worse most of the time. May God comfort you and take your pain away.

Hi I am sorry you are in such a bad spot and hope today is better. I don't like giving ER advice because I would hate for something to be wrong and you not go. Does that make sense? If you did not go or if you did and did not get help can your pain doc get you in and give you some as needed meds or some plan for relief? Hang in there.

Thank you Hannah and Daniella...I did not go i just bared it as much as i can and went to sleep. Today i called the dr that did my ct surgery and he is sending me to a neuro doc. He is also prescribing me narco to minimize the pain in the meantime. It is 10mg..I sure hope i can stomach that and it works.
