Smirk Just asking.....

Anybody out there with heart palpitations? Had to go to the FNP and she actually heard the irregular beat. I did not know if this was just another "fun thing" that goes along with disease or something else. I can feel this happen at least once a day. Sunny here in Ohio and it lifts the spirits. Hope everyone is finding the joy in Spring! Lisa

OMG Lisa..I do ,... I do..but then I have had a heart arthemia plus I have a history of A FIB... and a leaky value..I actually had the paddles once..lucky for you all here..it brought me back!!! Long before RSD but now I have to wonder if some of my heart issues are aquanited... I have chest pains and papations often..as in just a few hrs. ago.... I am the queen of heart issues.. I ma medicated for it..my heart races all of the time so I have to take tropral plus a blood thinner, 20 years now... but I understand RSD can play a large role in this...

Great thread!!

Yes, check your meds, mine was also related to medication. Anything new or increased?

A friend from my Surrort Group had this problem @ 1 yr. after RSD onset. It is due to RSD constricting blood vessels. Her Dr. prescribed a Med that opened the vessels and within 2 weeks she had no more chest pains. She is still on the Med. and no problems to date. Carol

Hi Lisa, RSD is an autonomic disorder, meaning it affects the involuntary organs, including the heart. I had an irregular ekg-so went thru all the heart tests with cardiologist. Nothing serious. But the heart irregularity was scary.
Get your heart checked out. Hope for the best, loretta with soft hugs
