Default Being sensitive to the pain of others

Hi friends,
This has been a wonderful source for support, friendship, knowledge that has helped in decision making. I can't begin to express my gratefulness is your kindness and sharing of your knowledge and research.
In the news lately, there have been some heart wrenching stories of bullying and the pain it has caused when ones take their life and the families and loved ones left behind. No one has done that of course in our group. But could we possibly make light of doing ourselves in or asking others to just help us end this misery.
The reason I bring this up, is a dear friend killed herself about 6 months ago. My husband and I have been helping support her husband and it's been a very difficult road.
Life is a precious gift. The suffering we experience is heart wrenching and so painful to our friends and family. I have faith that there will be a day when our creator will end the suffering that all experience. Until that time, I do everything I possibly can to take care of my health, research for new procedures, look into HBOT and other forms of therapy, be a friend and supportive to all of you.
Thank you for all that you have done to encourage and comfort me. I treasure this wonderful group of friends. Your friend, loretta with big and soft hugs

Hi Loretta,
Thank you for always responding to the plea of others who have questions or are new and searching for answers and support Your soft hugs are always a message of caring and genuine concern.
When I read of the wrenching situations that some of our group endure, I always wish there were some physical way I could help or provide relief.
I wish I could take a portion of their burden to lighten the devastating circumstances of their fate. We have to rely on our words and intentions of listening with an open heart and open mind, to offer as help.
I appreciate your sensitivity to anyone and everyone who reaches out.
Sending hugs,
from Hope4thebest

Hello Loretta...

I replied but it must have gotten eaten...So here goes take #2...

I am sorry for your sad times lately..To say it is heart wrenching..it truly an understatement..We find how precious our life is and the loved ones in it really are...It is so unique to have a sensitive group on our forum but we all know exacty the pain and intensity of our pain..AND sadly..it ain't going away..That is the crushing part..As our lives change, as we are forced to change with it..our norm of the past is no longer..sadly we take along with these changes .. as far as our loved ones..How hard is that on them..??!!!! Oh my..and it effects our husbands, wives and our children and friends differently .. so as we are trying to figure who we are now..our loved ones are going thru their own turmoil... Oh boy lets be honest in that we have all been and are in the grips of a sad, lost , hopeless day (s)..and if anyone had difficulties working it out..I believe that is prime time for some counciling but (this is sad) if ones life would end it..oh my.. At first I would be devestated but I think I would understand and respect them as they are then in a better place, pain free.. I believe they must have wanted it very badly and almost entitled... and I don't think they took the easy way out..merely a last resort.. I honestly think it crosses peoples minds..it has mine .. but it is our loved ones who (like yourself now) who really suffer having lost a special person in our/their lives...We are not prevy to the answers here on earth but when God peaks thru the clouds and sees us and others who suffer so..I hope we get the pass word to the entry gates.. quickly and free of charge.. and others behind would forgive us for being the eager ones to rise up and be free of our pain..we deserve the release...

I would be lost without you and all my friends here on this forum..I would be very lost in the knowledge of my illness but that does not even compare to the loss I would feel not having all of your love and morale support!!! We are eachothers life lines..

Bless you all and I am very and totally sorry for your pain, Loretta....

Hugz always..gentle ones..

Kathy
