Default Scintagraphic gastric test

Has anyone had one of these test? My Surgeon is doing this to see why my stomach doesn't empty right. He says it doesn't think it has anything to do with my pelvic pain but he is hoping the test will show him some things before he does surgery.

I have never heard of this test and the Hospital I am having it at doesn't like to do them. Of course our hospital here is a joke anyway. Behind times and probably rates the lowest in the country.LOL

This surgeon is new to the area. He's been here for over a year but my Gyno recommended him and I love his nurse. She is my Gyno's old nurse and they are very good at taking care of me. He wants to do everything he can before he does the surgery to find some answers to my problems.

Any ideals on the test?

Thanks,

Ada
