Default Hi,

It's going to get around 60 today but we have another snow storm moving in over the weekend. I think we have missed one weekend in 9 of not getting snow. They are still shoveling themselves out in the mountains.

I'm happy with the 60 though right now. It's getting closer to spring so maybe it will soon be over.

Default 60 degrees......

from one extreme to the other huh ada>? we are still very cold, but not as cold as the last two days........school was not closed today....

i think they close the schools here because so many of the children have to walk to school....that is way too cold for them to be out in.......................

but like lisam mentioned, the buses probably won't start either....altho some kids have been terrorizing the school districts by slashing tires and letting the air out of the tires...............that is so stupid, as they will just have to make up those days anyway....they dont' have to make up snow/cold days................

Are they slashing tires just to keep from going to school? That's awlful. Some kids nowadays are little prisoners waiting to happen.

I think they they only have to make up a percentage of snow days they do miss in most areas.

Default Rain in warm cali

It is gonna rain on us in Cali today, and the next week solid. So says the weather peeps.

Still a nice 68' outside. Even when it was sooo nice I never ventured outside. I dont think I have went outside in 2 months.

Hope that El Nino event passes so everyone can warmup in the midwest, and north east.

Hang in there spring is right around the corner, unless it is gonna be like winter started..............delayed by a couple of months. Kinda seems like the weather patterns are changing everywhere.

Default Aaaaaarrrrrrrggggggggghhhhhhhhh!

AAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!

Well another fun morning with frozen pipes! Some dork who thought they were doing something wonderful put our hot water heater into the porch room - on the outside wall, with plastic pipes running into the house - laying on cement blocks - at the corner of the house/porch (where they meet) and didnt even put a heater vent out in that room!

We moved in, in late fall and hubby did not have time, energy, mobility or strength, nor could we find help to do something about it before winter and DEFINATELY couldnt afford to pay someone to fix it as W/Comp cut hubby off months ago - so no monies for that!!!

This is time #4 with them froze up - Kids just loooooove bathing with heated water off the stove (we still have cold that runs as that piping is under the house and warm enough) and my electric bill is sky rocketing with the extra heater being out there - Especially when its -10,-20, - 8, etc....I love February!!!

Just another fun thing that people dealing with workers comp have to deal with - no funds to pay for necessary needs, repairs, etc....Gotta love them!
