Thanks Sandel. My wife is currently getting closer to her SSDI hearing so this is some good news. It appears the RSD guidelines are not as rigid as they once were. I'd love to hear from others on this subject.

Social Security Ruling on October 20, 2003
Do I read this right? It is an article written about a ruling made 8 years ago?

If that is the case, why has it been so difficult for people with RSD to get approval?

confused....

I believe that date is referring to the first time RSD guidelines were put into place. This new ruling on RSD guidelines are not as rigid as those from 2003.
Someone please tell me if I'm wrong on this.

I looked a little deeper into this and it does appear to be a ruling from 2003.

I thought the date reference was odd too. Maybe this SSDI attorney is looking for more business from RSDers?

I emailed the link to my wife's SSDI attorney and she replied it is an old ruling.
