Default Question about how CRPS spreads.

I have CRPS in my legs. I had inner and outer ear infections in both ears. The pain was getting worse. It has been 10 days and I am now out of antibiotics. So I went to the doctor, they said that the infection is gone and they don't know why I am having so much pain. The pain is in my face, ears, neck. It burns, has sharp stabbing pain, tingling, dull/achy, and yesterday and today I have been getting a fever. So I am starting to wonder if CRPS will jump to different body parts? Could the ear infections make it spread? It just hurts soooooo bad!! My face is swollen and red sometimes and is hot/warm to the touch.

Hi Angelina,

Gosh, I really hope your roller coaster smooths out a bit soon. The first thing that comes to mind is the fever. If you are having a fever it would seem that some type of infection is still present. Maybe another round of antibiotics would help? How about tylenol or some other OTC to reduce the temp. How about teeth? You mentioned face/neck pain which can often occur with a tooth infection and can also cause ear pain. You might want to see your dentist to rule out other possibilities prior to assuming it is the CRPS spreading.

Really hoping things settle for you,
Tessa
