Dawson. Send me a PM. Im not having it done at a VA Hospital because they don't even do this yet! Friggin place just started doing acupuncture 2-3 years ago so forget about seeing anything like this for YEARS! The Dr I am seeing is in civilian sector but is a Retired Navy Doc who treated thousands of troops at Walter Reed. He is taking new patients with insurance and depends on their background. If you could give me a little of that via PM I will let you know if he's your guy ok? We start first treatment mid February. He does all the other Pain Management stuff as well. Just gave me a Radio Frequency Ablation last week which was perfect and done unlike anyone who's done it before too. Best Doc Ive met hands down! Where you at in Virginia too btw? Im in Northern VA. |

Hi Gunny, I saw your post here and I am looking for a doctor who treats CRPS in the DC area. My pain doctor in Bethesda retired last year and I've been in a free fall trying to find a new doctor ever since. I was dxed with CRPS in 1990 after hand surgery, but it spread to my right foot now. I read several years ago about ketamine being used for soldiers at Walter Reed, perhaps it was because of your doctor. Would you mind sharing his name? Thanks so much, Darcy |

Ok i understand. But you didnt get an email or anything from me with all that info?
When I go to your screen name and the drop down menu where it usually says "Send a Private Msg" yours says "Send an Email" so i filled out that box and sent it days ago. I would check your junk folder on the email you used to sign up here first ok? The Doc is just starting his civilian practice after getting out of Navy (Walter Reed) and would be very glad to obtain new patients as referrals from me. Hope we can get you the info somehow? |

Good Morning Gunny,
No, I checked my email junk file yesterday and today. Nothing, there. My Neurotalk drop down menu only has three options as of now, none of them link me to being able to send or receive private messages. On your tagline, the only thing I could do was 'friend' you, so I did that just in case. The moderator did email me last night to say if I post some more I will have access to private messages, but I don't know if that means your message will come through then. I'm sorry to cause you so much work. Is it possible just to give me his name and address? When I call in to book an appointment I can tell the office that you referred me. If that doesn't work, I have no problem posting my email address here. It's been so long now since I've had a doctor and I feel like I falling into the abyss. Hope you're having a good day. These snow day wreak havoc on me. Best, Darcy |

you should be able to PM and also to receive PMs It's not a good idea to post email addresses on the forums due to potential spam Gunny you are fine to post the name and office contact info of the doctor here
