Default Has Anyone had Nerve Damage In Their Teeth?

I was just wondering if anyone has had problem's with nerve damage in their teeth from having RSD? If this disease does damage your nerve's over time, what does it do to the root of your tooth? I recently went to my dentist with pain that ran from the middle of my R chin all the way to my R ear! After he gave me an x-ray,the tooth in the far back on the right side was totally infected! My whole R side of my face was huge! He had to numb it then drain all the (I hate to say it!) pus out! Then he told me that I would have to go and have that tooth extracted.(sp?) In the meantime I am on Amoxicillin 500MG.I sure hope that this is not the starting of more of this! Already my R ear is hurting again! Please get back to me if anyone has gone thru this? Breezy55Thanks so much, and may you have a pain free day!
