Default Power Of Prayer

My RSD is very flared, as my mom is 89 and in Hosp. First she was admitted with pneumonia, the next day she was very loopy and she is not on too much meds, she couldn't talk right I had to beg the nurses to please put her back to bed , she slept 5 hours I had them wake her, she then became beligerant, they did an ekg in the middle of the night and the loopiness was that she was having a heart attack she is now in CCu and just keeps telling me she wants to die she can't take anymore, it's breaking my heart. Palliative care Dr. called me and thinks our next option is Hospice House. Please I beg all of my RSD friends to pray for her as she is so ill and I do believe in power of prayer. Thank you all in advance

Dear Wendy

My arms reach out to hug you and offer you and your Mom in healing prayer only through our Lord Jesus Christ who will heal all who ask either here or in heaven.

In 2000 i had fibromyalgia and was crippled with it. I had a prayer healing done and was healed in an hour and i stayed healthy for 5 years!! i then had gallbladder surgery and after 5 years of suffering, just got diagnosed with RSD 4 months ago. I did have many prayer healings over the past few years but wasnt healed, its in Gods time not ours. I feel selfish even asking for more healing after receiving it once. But God doesnt say that he limits us in anything. So i m filled with joy waiting for Him and my next healing.
the power of prayer is real. pray with confidence. pray without ending.

I saw an amazing show on Unsolved Mysteries the other day abot a girl with RSD that could not even be touched from head to toe. she was hospitalized and no amount of pain killers touched her agony! Her parents are christians and prayed for 3 months believing she would be healed. and she was . her healing that she described was just what i felt when i had my healing. So it can happen and i will pray for her!
Peace and blessings
Lori

Dear Wendy, Thank you for sharing your dear Mom's condition with us. I am so sorry for the emotional pain you are in. My husband is packing tomorrow to drive to his 89 yr old Mom's in Washington State. We live in Arizona. She isn't critical, but is failing in health, lives alone.
I know the pain of losing my Mom at age 46-she had colon cancer and I took care of her the last 4 months. This was in October of 1973 and I still miss her. I read the Bible to her every day and prayed with her and know that brought her much comfort.
Please let us know how you are both doing. Take care of yourself, so you can be strong for her. Your friend, loretta

Wendy,

I, too, am sorry I did not read your post sooner, as well...I am so so so sorry for your situation with your wonderful Mom.. I will pray for you both and I KNOW how terribly upsetting this is to you and your Mom and your RSD!! I am going thru this exact same senerio right now too with my Mom..Since 9/9/10..My Mom has been having terrible, one right after the other strokes..Dr.'s urged me to place her in comfort care/hospice. She is such a fighter and just the other day she has had a big one yet again and now paralyized on her total right side and lost the use of her legs, eyesight and has demensha..she is not eatting well nor drinking... This is why I have been absent from here for a bit as I am trying to spending as much quality heartfelt time with her and let her know that my love for her is endless...Please, Wendy..do the same..speak from your heart and let your beautiful Mom know how much you love and cherish her..at the same time, gently let her know it is ok to be at peace and not to fight it..God has a plan..It is not up to us..in the mean time..I pour my heart out to you as I am right there with you and knowing how terribly sad this is....

Much love and prayers are with you...

Kathy

Kathy, Thank you for your prayers, I am so sorry that you too are going thru this heart breaking situation.I too am trying to be with her as much as possible, I do do the things that you mentioned, however I am not able to tell it"s ok for her to go yet (that is just too hard for me right now) She was some what lucid last night and we talked for a few, which made me feel better. I know God has a plan and all of this is really in his hands as the Dr.s are doing everything to keep her comfortable, it sounds like I am going to have to make a decision on where she will be going for palliative care real soon, this whole situation is so heart wrenching and just wreaks havoc on my body. Would you mind if I PM you some time, just to talk ,as we seem to be going thru the same thing. Thanks again

Wendy,

My grandmother is in the shape so my poor mom is caught in the middle. I do feel your pain and my thoughts will be with you. As people remind me all the time, make sure you do with this condition put your own life bag on first because without you, things would only be harder.

Hang in there, things do have a way of turning out for the best.
