I had a Superior Hypogastric Plexus block last week and got complete pain relief in my lower right abdomen for four hours. They go through the L5-S1 level. I believe the next step is getting it done again with phenol injected. Have a follow-up appointment on Monday.
This procedure is just to treat my burning, hot abdominal pain. I also have lower right hot, burning back pain. Has anyone had this procedure and if so, what were your symptoms and results? |
